Case Study – All Things ‘Party’
Background
Sultry summer evenings lend themselves to sharing with friends and family and if you have the space, using your garden provides an intimate and convenient venue. There are lots of benefits of organising a garden party. Delicious food, favourite cocktails and great company, all in the comfort of your own home. No stressing over time restrictions or limited food choices. You are free to pick and choose whatever you fancy.

Brief
We were tasked to create a memorable 50th birthday party guests would be talking about for weeks to come. Opulence was a key theme. It was imperative that we were on point with a sumptuous bar featuring delicious cocktails and champagne. In addition the client asked for hearty food with sophistication. In essence an oxymoron but also a creative dream made in heaven.
The Four Gables Touch
We loved this event. With the focus on guests who were treated like stars, the red carpet was (literally) rolled out to greet folks in their finery, who were guided into a marquee lit with a starlight ceiling and embellished with a chequered dance floor. Guests were welcomed with Bollinger champagne, various martinis and mojito bubble tea while enjoying canapés including lobster doughnuts with bisque dipping sauce; mille-fuille of gravadlax with candied beetroot and goats cheese and chilli jam lollipops. We created a ‘street food’ station in the garden – with chefs cooking to order. The station enabled food creativity and theatre to be enjoyed by all before heading off to a full laser show and smoke machine to get the dancing started.
