Corporate case study – Greek Street Showcase

Background

We may have mentioned once or twice that collaboration in corporate event management is really important to us. Expertise and experience results in a team focused on an outstanding experience for the customer. With this in mind, we recently welcomed the imaginative and refreshingly easy-going ladies from creative agency Plain Jane Events. The meeting involved cocktails, lunch and sharing ideas for an upcoming venue showcase. Perfect.

Brief

The venue for the showcase is Soho’s 19 Greek Street in London. The former Victorian townhouse is now an event space spread over four floors. The owners of Greek Street wanted a space designed for advancement, sustainability, innovation and good taste and golly did they succeed. Greek street hosts many types of event and at its core is a philosophy bringing together events to help to make the world a better place. 150 guests are invited to the showcase to experience 19 Greek Street at its best. Each floor will be themed for ‘seasons’. The venue will feature a summer bar and DJ, floristry in spring and food over two floors to represent autumn and winter.

The Four Gables Touch

After picking them up from the train station, we greeted Emma, Hannah and Annabelle with a selection of cocktails before they headed into the kitchen for a pasta making lesson with head chef, Andy. Everyone rolled their sleeves up to get stuck in to lunch prep with much laughter. Later, ideas flowed around the conference table. Concepts were discussed, colour schemes introduced and matched with canapés and desserts. The showcase has the makings of being epic, watch this space for more soon.
