Four Gables Group was formed in 2011 and is based in Ashtead, Surrey serving London and the South East.

There are two sides of the business. Four Gables Events provides hospitality for weddings, corporate events, fine dining dinner parties and much more. Four Gables Contract Management is a contract catering business that provides “in house” hospitality to a business or attraction.

We are a team of creative individuals who are very serious about what we do but don’t like to take ourselves too seriously!

 

The Role

• To manage ordering, preparation and serving of all Four Gables Events in the diary from start to finish.

• To manage ordering, preparation and serving of all Four Gables Street food from start to finish

• To represent Four Gables Group and maintain all of its values and standards

• To manage all food safety and HACCP documents ensuring that they are kept up to date.

• To manage the kitchen on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that the highest levels of cleanliness and hy

  giene are maintained.

• To manage the kitchen costs to a responsible level. (I.e. food ordering)

• To actively involve yourself in the day to day running of Four Gables (i.e. event prep etc)

• To help train and develop any junior staff that we may have working in our group.

 

General Duties

• To be responsible for your own diary and work the rota to fit within the business needs.

• Develop menus and concepts with a strong creative angle.

• Be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain – engage with suppliers to provide great produce.

• Develop relationships with other businesses that we work with or alongside.

• Promote the work of Four Gables Group.

• Act as a supervisor to any junior chefs working within the Group.

• Develop the Contract Management side of the business.

• To build on our base of casual staff that can be used as and when the business dictates.
