Corporate case study – 19 Greek Street

Background

19 Greek Street hosts events of many types, from fashion to beauty, interiors to media. But at the core is a philosophy of bringing together events to help make the world a better place.

That means raising funds for people with mental health issues or young girls in the slums of Laos and Cambodia juxtapose some of fashion’s biggest names such as Louis Vuitton and Louboutin.

In collaboration with the event team from Plain Jane Events, 150 invited guests enjoyed a showcase designed to show off 19 Greek Street at its best.

Brief

The showcase was spread over four floors. Each floor represented a season of the year.
.
Guests were welcomed into Summer. A DJ played summer bangers as bar staff served refreshing cocktails with herbal notes. The room pulsed with the promise of warmth and opportunity of chilling with friends, the perfect way to set a relaxed vibe.
.
On ascending the stairs, Summer turned to Autumn. Flowers by Wild Renata Flowers celebrated an impressive palette of golds, browns, coppers, bronzes and reds. Another floor and this time, Winter. Stark and eye opening in monochrome splendour.
.
Then finally back to spring. More Wild Renata Flowers with a riot of pinks, blues and white blossom bursting from the walls. Here guests were encouraged to be interactive with flowers. Guests who took part were easily identified by beautiful corsages and hair decorations.

The Four Gables Touch

For the second floor we created a range of canapés themed ‘a walk in the woodland’, designed to celebrate all things autumn. Featured was Vegetarian sushi with fresh vegetables; earthy beetroot and goats cheese cones; bangers and mash eclairs (the epitome of comfort food) and pipettes of spiced ‘Bloody Mary’ spread around buckets of allotment vegetables with savoury edible soil.
.
Up in the Winter room ‘pornstar martini’, strawberry daiquiri and ‘mojito’ ices offered a delicious colour pop. Guests also enjoyed constructing caramel ice cream cones with a choices of toppings.
